Shelby Mae Boston! I love you!!!!  I would like to say that I love each of the girls in this picture.  They have blessed me so much! I could not have made it through this summer without there willingness to get up at 5:00 in the MORNING and not only that they always had a smile :) I miss them more than they know and cannot wait to see them in about 2 weeks!

Jess, is my sweet friend that I have the high priviledge of spending everyday with!!!  The Lord is so beautiful at piecing things together!  I'm so thankful that we share similar taste in music, temperature, peppermints, Corrie ten Boom, 2nd and Charles, passion for India, great finds, and our sweet Jesus! I've learned so much from just sharing this little space with her! Welcome Jess!!!!

Setting My Gaze On Eternity

Who is He?

I'm learning more and more about the reality of who Christ is.  Oh Sweet Jesus! His name does something when you say it. I love in Luke when Jesus is on the road to emmaus and He starts talking to Cleopas. Once their eyes are opened they say "Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?"  I love how their hearts burned within them from the words of Jesus Christ.  Do you feel that when you say His name?  Does is burn on your heart?  This is not at all where I intended to go with this blog.

I'm in a place of really learning who Christ is, I'll always be here though. One of the sweet gifts of Him being beyond comprehension! Anyways, this verse just spoke such truth to me:

Amos 4:13

"He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and REVEALS HIS THOUGHTS TO MAN, He who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth-

the Lord Almighty is His name."

Lord Almighty, let us know you for who you are today!

The end is what really gets me.  I pursue not a long life, but a full one, like you, Lord Jesus. What am I pursuing? I'm moving into my first apartment, by myself.  I feel like this is a big step for me. The other night I was questioning my safety when I realized the only thing that makes me safe where I currently live is Jesus.  No matter WHERE I go, He is my security.  He's got the whole world in His hands and I think I like my little tiny place in His hand :)
