"We were made by the hands of a Maker to be brave, to take heart and have courage. But we get good at the things we practice, and instead of scales of courage, I played dark melodies of fear."- Ann Voskamp

You shall know the truth and the truth shall truly set you free.  Are our actions really the thoughts, that we've allowed, becoming out reality? Do we ever carry out an action that didn't start with a thought.  What fear did I give way to?  What lie did I choose to take on? something so fleeting yet so powerful!

"When I thought how to understand this, it seemed to me a wearisome task....."  Sometimes I wish my thoughts would be more wearisome to me for the promise is "...UNTIL I entered the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end." Jesus may my thoughts be made less and the discernment of your sanctuary more.  Oh to dwell in the courts of the Lord, knowing His thoughts are not our thoughts.  Jesus, can I have your thoughts about school?  Your thoughts about relationships?  Your thoughts about my body?  Your thought about who I am?

Isaiah 55:8-9

For my Thoughts arenot your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth. so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

I'm sitting here in the library, studying clearly, and I feel the Lord tugging on my heart to go see a friend that He divinely placed in my life because she will be leaving for a month.  My response, that's crazy I have to study.  It suddenly hits me how many times today I have reasonded that it must not be the Lord because that wouldn't make sense right now.  Hmm..."For my thoughts are not your thoughts..."

I'm so thankful His thoughts are not my thoughts, thankful that He holds the beginning and the end! If He's leading me now it's not because He is unaware and uncapable of handling the things I think I need to do....

All that to say I do have a responsibility to be studying but that should never come before my Lord's voice.
